President John Mahama has invited Chinese investors to partner with Ghana to create mutually beneficial economic ventures, emphasizing that the country is again open for business.
At the Chinese Lantern Festival held at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Sunday evening, he commended the significant impact of Chinese businesses on Ghana’s economy and urged ongoing collaborations for sustainable growth.
“The Chinese community here has contributed significantly to our economy, particularly in areas such as construction, manufacturing, agriculture, mining, and trade,” President Mahama noted.
The Chinese Lantern Festival, a cultural event representing unity and hope, was an ideal setting for President Mahama’s address, emphasizing the robust diplomatic and economic ties between Ghana and China.
Emphasizing his dedication to rejuvenating Ghana’s economic landscape, the former president assured investors of a supportive business environment that promotes growth and shared prosperity.
“In my inaugural address, I emphasized that Ghana is again open for business. I encourage our friends in the Chinese investment community to explore the opportunities available in Ghana. Let’s create a win-win partnership for both our nations,” he encouraged.
