NSA Releases PIN Codes for 18,000+ Nurses and Midwives for 2025/2026 Service Year

The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially released Personal Identification Number (PIN) codes for 18,011 trained nurses and midwives ahead of their mandatory national service for the 2025/2026 service year.

In a statement dated Thursday, April 17, 2025, the Authority announced that eligible applicants can now access their PIN codes through the official NSA website by entering their Student ID numbers and Date of Birth.

This announcement marks the beginning of the registration process for newly qualified nurses and midwives across Ghana.

  • Registration Fee: GH¢40 at any ADB Bank branch or GH¢41 via MTN Mobile Money.

The NSA is urging all eligible personnel to complete their registration within the given timeframe to avoid missing out on this year’s deployment.

Mandatory Service Explained

Under the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), all Ghanaian citizens aged 18 and above who have completed accredited tertiary education, including Nursing Training Colleges, are required to undertake national service.
