Ghanaian international Evelyn Badu has officially signed with Norwegian giants FK Molde, marking a major step forward in her football career.
Ghanaian midfielder Evelyn Badu has joined Norwegian top-flight club FK Molde in a move that strengthens her career ahead of the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.
The 22-year-old Black Queens star signs with Molde on a contract that runs until the end of the 2025 season. She arrives from French club FC Fleury 91, bringing with her a wealth of experience from Europe’s elite women’s leagues.
A Big Step Forward
Badu’s switch to FK Molde marks a return to familiar grounds, having previously impressed in Norway with Avaldsnes in the Toppserien. Her new manager, Erlend Holmlund, couldn’t hide his excitement about the signing.
“Considering Evelyn’s young age, she has extensive experience throughout her time in the Toppserien with Avaldsnes and most recently in the French top division for FC Fleury 91,” Holmlund said.
Her time at Avaldsnes saw her make 47 appearances and score two goals. At Fleury 91, she featured 13 times and found the net once. Known for her technical skills, composure, and versatility, Badu is expected to be a key player in Molde’s midfield.
