Apple iPhone SE 4 Surfaces in Leak, Points to Big Changes

Apple will unveil a new iteration, the iPhone SE 4

Apple’s entry-level iPhone has gone nearly three years without an update, but significant enhancements to the aging iPhone SE seem more promising. Speculation suggests that Apple will unveil a new iteration, the iPhone SE 4. Recently, we caught our first genuine glimpse of this anticipated device.

On January 25, leaker Majin Bu shared photos and videos on his X account, claiming they depict the new iPhone SE.

The videos reveal a compact phone featuring an Apple logo, a single rear camera, and a USB-C charging port at the bottom. A small front-facing selfie camera is also visible. The images imply that the phone may not include the Dynamic Island found in the iPhone 15 and 16 series, although it’s challenging to confirm this from the video as the device is not powered on.

Rumors indicate that the upcoming iPhone SE will replace the outdated home button with Face ID for enhanced security and transition from a 16:9 screen design to an edge-to-edge display.

Bloomberg indicates that the phone will come equipped with Apple Intelligence, which will likely feature a substantial upgrade in processor and memory.

Speculation also suggests the iPhone SE will adopt an OLED display, marking a notable enhancement. However, it remains uncertain if the iPhone SE 4 will update to the latest 5G radios, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth technologies.
