National Service Authority goes cashless

The National Service Authority (NSA) has unveiled a complete shift to a cashless payment system, aligning with the government’s initiative to modernize revenue collection.

The new directive mandates that all payments, including the 20% and 10% administrative service charges, be processed solely via the GHANA.GOV platform. This initiative seeks to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accessibility for all stakeholders.

Payments can now be made anytime via the official website or by dialing *222# on any mobile network.

Transactions can be initiated via personnel dashboards or invoices sent to user agency finance representatives. The platform offers diverse payment options, such as debit and credit card transactions, mobile money services, internet banking, banking apps, QR code payments, direct account transfers, and SWIFT and ACH transfers for international payments.

Starting now, NSA staff at district, regional, and headquarters offices will not accept manual payments. NSA urges everyone to use the new system, supporting Ghana’s move to a cashless economy.
