Evans Teye Agbozo has been appointed as the Chief Revenue Officer, taking charge of the Kumasi collection for the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority.
He replaces Assistant Commissioner Vivian Glover, who retired with distinction after 37 years of service.
Mr. Teye began his career with the division in 1991 as a Collection Assistant Grade III and steadily advanced to his current role.
Before being appointed as the sector commander, CRO Agbozo served as the Second-in-Command for the Kumasi Collection.
He has led the Monitoring and Surveillance unit at the Post Clearance Audit in Tema.
Mr. Agbozo is affiliated with the Institute of Directors – Ghana and earned a Master of Science in Corporate Planning and Governance from the University of Cape Coast.
He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics with Philosophy from the University of Ghana and a Diploma in Public Relations from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.
Evans Teye Agbozo, the new CRO, brings a wealth of experience and has earned numerous prestigious awards and accolades throughout his career.
He has received the World Customs Organisation’s Certificate of Merit twice, in 2017 and 2023. In 1995, the Ghana Olympic Committee honored him as an Honorary Ambassador for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, USA.
