Ghana’s Black Queens have landed in Casablanca, Morocco, ahead of their friendly match against the host nation on Friday, February 21.
This match marks the first big test for newly appointed head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren, who was recently unveiled. Fans are eager to see his impact on the team as he leads them into this crucial encounter.
The team departed Accra early Saturday, February 15, to begin their training camp in Morocco. Shortly after his unveiling, Coach Bjorkegren named his squad, with only four players from the Ghana Women’s Premier League.
The first training session is set for Monday, February 17, with more sessions to follow. 18 players are currently in camp, getting ready for the big game.
With preparations in full swing, expectations are high for the Black Queens to put on a solid performance.
